Southampton Give New Contract to Stuart Taylor
Southampton, confirming that they have extended Stuart Taylor’s tenure over the next season.
Soton’s decision to keep the 36-year-old goalkeeper because his role is still needed, especially to help improve the existing goalkeeper like Fraser Forster and Alex McCarthy.
After signing his new contract, the former Arsenal and Manchester City player admitted happy to still be able to work at St Mary.
“I’m obviously happy to have signed for another year,” Stuart Taylor told the club’s official website.
“This is a great youth group and a great group.
“And I’m looking forward again to working with a great goalkeeping coach and a great goalkeeping squad.”
Last season, while still handled Claude Puel the player has not played at all in the Premier League competition either as a substitute and starter.
